The new era of the "Read & Write Web" also known as Web 2.0 is made possible to great extent by the implementation of well known standards. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has gone a long way to establish solid standards that Web browser manufacturers should follow to ensure compatibility and a pleasant user experience. In this workshop, we will learn about two of the most important standards to come out of the W3C: XHTML and CSS.
